Update 7/2/11
I'm gonna be pretty busy for the rest of the weekend so the Dark of the Moon review will have to wait.

More Than Meets The Eye?
As I write this, the new Transformers movie, Dark of the Moon, is actually already in theaters. I just found out that one of the local movie houses already started a showing at 9:00 PM. I find this kind of amusing becuase this movie has had a very, er, flexible release date. First it was July 1st, then it was June 29 at midnight but I guess that's just the full national release date.
Of course the critics have already seen it an most of the votes are already in. According to USA Today it sucks. According to RottenTomatoes.com it sucks. Yeesh. To be fair, RT did give it a higher score than the much-despised Revenge of the Fallen (TF2 or Revenge got a 20% on RT whilst TF3 got 38%) but TF3 still does not have as high a rating as the first Transformers movie. So what do I think? Well, the critics were wrong about the first movie and they were right about the second so this one has a fifty-fifty shot. We shall see...

Spiritual Thoughts
Wow.
It's been about a month or so since I last posted anything here. It's entirely my fault though. Summer classes are fast and then I got drafted to work on the set of a horror movie called INSIDE.
Since it technically is Sunday for about 13 more minutes, I want to make the first post in a series of spiritual thoughts every Sunday. But... since it's late and I'm tired, I'm going to kind of cop out and quote an entry from the book Rejoice in Christ:
For because of the word which he has imparted unto me, behold, many have been born of God, and have tasted as I have tasted, and have seen eye to eye as I have seen; therefore they do know of these things of which I have spoken, as I do know; and the knowledge which I have is of God.
